Worked like a charm! : Good Tidings SLS701 Santa's Last Christmas Tree Stand
I had a metal tree stand for 20 years that plainly had a post that you set the tree on after drilling a hole in it... Can't find them anymore. Bought this one to replace it the day we bought our tree and I fell in love instantly. Put the tree in it (yes we had already drilled a hole for the old stand that we had intended to use) and it has been standing right ever since... One week into using it. Haven't noticed any leaking or swaying and we have a full 7' tree in it. I like that I can categorically drag it to put it exactly where I want it. Also like that there are no legs to fool with. I suppose some of the other negative reviews the stand may not have been level on all sides with the floor. We're happy with ours. Hope to have it 20 years like our last one.
